Experience
Building a risk platform that turns the spreadsheet chaos banks live in into something you can actually see and reason about. Visualizing how risks cascade and compound across business lines, from zero.
Took three enterprise products from blank canvas to shipped. Lead designer for their risk product, RiskOversight. Designed platform-level design infrastructure (workflows, multi-tenant views, assessments) that every other team ended up building on top of.
Designed the admin portal that some of the biggest restaurant chains in the country use to run their online ordering. Spent a lot of time talking to the people who had to manage these systems day to day.
Designed a platform for the Department of Defense serving military families around the world. Flew out to do research with the people who'd actually use it and built the team's first design system from scratch.
Redesigned how players buy things. Checkout flows across web and in-game that actually made sense. Built a design system that worked across multiple game studios and platforms.
Took a publishing platform nobody was reading, redesigned the visual experience and information architecture, and turned it into one people actually visited.
Where it all started. Ran my first usability tests for a streaming service and discovered that watching people struggle with an interface is the fastest way to learn how to design one.
